This section is dedicated to Mums, Dads and Toddlers and lists events in Cheadle Hulme and other activities just for them. As ever, any contributions are welcome.

Playgroup is held at the Methodist Church and is available daily from 9.15am - 11.45 am (term time), and is open to 3 year olds and over.

The children do a variety of activities following the Ofsted pre-school guidelines. For more information, contact the playgroup directly.

If your little one likes to paint, they can have great fun with a free painting program.

This lets them draw, colour in or use "stamps" of various animals and shapes. Even better it's part of the Open Source project where people develop useful software to share, which means it's free.

Story time is held at the Library every Every Tuesday from 2.00pm - 2.30pm.

Sharing stories and books - a wonderful opportunity for children and their parent/carers to meet together on a weekly basis to share stories and rhymes in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Mums, Dads and toddlers are welcome at the Methodist Church every Wednesday from 10.45am until 12.00pm, during term time.

For £1 per family, there is a drink and biscuit in the Coffee Lounge first, followed by singing then play with lots of toys available and a large play area provided in the Hall. Lunch is also available if you wish.

The Baby Chat group meets each Thursday at 10.30 am. This is for carers and babies up to 18 months old to come for a chat and a cuppa, with a short song time. Cost £1 per family.

Tiddlywinks is for any pre-schooler aged 0-5 and meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month.
There is a song, bible story (or story with a message), craft and play time. Cost £1 per family.
